The University of Georgia’s glass shop is operated by Annalee Pickett and is under the management of Center for Applied Isotope Studies. The glass shop provides a wide a of variety of custom glass apparatus made from 2 mm to 180 mm Pyrex and 2 mm to 60 mm quartz.

Chemistry students have the unique opportunity to take a scientific glassblowing class that focuses on teaching basic bench skills. Classes are offered each semester for one credit hour.
