Paul is a Professor as well as the Department Head in the UGA Geology Department. The research carried out in Paul’s group has involved the study of fine grain clay mineral particles using NMR spectroscopy, Fourier transform IR and Raman spectroscopy, radiogenic, cosmogenic, and stable isotopes, chemical and thermal analyses, and X-ray and electron diffraction. Paul is a member of the CAIS Advisory Group.
