Designed for a 5th grade reading level, the Jr. Archaeology Program builds critical reasoning skills, while at the same time providing youth with information about Georgia’s history and instilling in them a sense of social and environmental responsibility.

CAIS faculty, students, researchers, and staff regularly provide copies of the UGA Junior Archaeologist workbook to children and families at public outreach events and in school classrooms.
