Kathy Boyd earned her Associate degree in Biotechnology at Athens Tech in 2016. Since then, she has been working in the Natural Products lab for CAIS. She primarily weighs and loads samples for Picarro to determine their 13C and 2H values.  She also runs the Dual Inlet mass spectrometer which measures samples for 13C, nitrogen, or hydrogen. She loves the work, which can be challenging, and finds there is always something new to learn.
