Nick is a graduate student with a focus on inorganic/materials chemistry, with the ultimate intent to better energy storage solutions and photovoltaics. He works on synthesizing 1 and 2-dimensional materials with applications ranging from photovoltaics to semiconductors to energy storage to unknown. Physical analysis of these materials comes in the form of PXRD, SCXRD, SEM/EDS, STEM, and Raman spectroscopy.

At CAIS, Nick operates multiple dual inlet mass spectrometers.

He is a veteran of the Marine Corps and is currently a Reservist with a unit in West Palm Beach, Florida.
