Jihong Xu joined CAIS in December 2022. As a technician in the radiocarbon dating lab, she is responsible for the pretreatment of samples for radiocarbon dating and stable isotope analysis. She is skilled in the extraction of collagen and bioapatite from bone samples. Additionally, she prepares samples for the AMS line and automated graphitization systems.
