Elizabeth Reitz is a Professor Emerita in the UGA Department of Anthropology and head of the Zooarchaeology Laboratory at the of the Georgia Museum of Natural History.  She is zooarchaeologist who focuses on Latin American and southeastern archaeology with an emphasis on environmental and ecological archaeology.
