Gamma Spectroscopy
Gamma spectroscopy is a proven and reliable analytical method to detect and quantify unknown radionuclides in sample media. The CAIS can prepare and count a wide variety of sample media (i.e. vegetation, water, soil, sediment, flora, fauna, etc.) and provide radionuclide concentrations for each sample type submitted.
The CAIS can also use gamma spectroscopy to scan food and beverage
products for select radionuclides, providing a Certificate of
Analysis to manufacturers to verify that products meet export
standards. More »
