Junior Archaeology Program

Developed by CAIS graduate students, the Jr. Archaeologist program combines science and critical reasoning educational activities related to Georgia’s history and future

The UGA Junior Archaeology program is designed to introduce K-6 students to archaeology, conservation science, history and geology, while at the same time, providing them with a greater appreciation of Georgia’s history. After completing the workbook, students sign a pledge to protect, explore, learn, and share Georgia’s past, earning themselves an official Jr. Archaeologist badge.
