Water quality is a measure of the suitability of water for a particular use based on selected physical, chemical, and biological characteristics. Our water quality services include full processing and continuous flow colorimetry (CFC), dissolved organic and inorganic carbon analysis, ion chromatography, and fluorometry for chlorophyll and trace ammonium. Specifically, we can analyze dissolved nutrients including TP, TN, TC, NO3, NO2, NH4, PO4, SiO and a variety of other low molecular weight anions. We also offer extractions for nutrients including soil TP, NO3, NH4 and PO4 and plant and animal tissue TP. We have more than 20 years of experience analyzing all types of water quality samples including fresh-, waste- and sea waters. We can provide precise analysis with detection limits down to 5 ppb for most aqueous analytes. With two well-maintained Alpkem 300 series and the latest Astoria CFC water analyzers, we can provide reliable results with rapid turn-around. We also specialize in research, development and consulting for new analytical water quality techniques.
